Micromax reaches forces up to 21,000 xg at speeds of 15,000 rpm. This IEC Micromax RF can accommodate a range of applications including PCR and 2.0mL tubes. More Separating Power and Less Maintenance: * The IEC Micromax/MicromaxRF microcentrifuge produces forces up to 21,000 xg at speeds of 15,000 rpm on 24 (1.5-2.0 mL) samples or 48 (0.5 mL) microtubes. IEC Micromax’s brushless motor is designed for longevity and requires no maintenance. All controls are microprocessor based for added reliability. More Flexibility and More Convenience: * The IEC Micromax includes a choice of g-force or rpm speed control, gentle and fast acceleration and braking rates, audible end of run signal, as well as momentary spin and time hold selections. A "glove friendly" membrane control panel with digital display makes it easy to clean and to operate. Repeat runs are as simple as touching a single membrane switch. Less Noise, Less Space and Less Time: * Other less powerful microcentrifuges are noisy distractions, but the IEC Micromax operates at a quiet 62 dBA at full speed, so you can work while Micromax works. Only 12 inches wide, this machine requires less bench space than the majority of microcentrifuges (particularly refrigerated) with comparable sample capacity and power. It takes less than 15 seconds to attain 21,000 xg or to brake allowing you to process more samples per day.
