* This unit consists of a heavy-duty, precision machined aluminum housing with light weight aluminum cover that enclosed everything. Overall, the housing measures 13 3/8 long x 4 15/16 wide x 4 15/16 tall (as shown). The bottom mounting plate is 9.5 mm thick with (4) sets of tapped M8 holes (with Heli-Coil Inserts) with a 8mm dowel pin hole between each set of mounting holes. The one side plate and both end plates are also 9.5 mm thick. Inside the housing is a 8 mm thick precision angle that the camera/lens assembly mounts to. It allows some horizontal and vertical adjustments of the camera with respect to the housing via slots. * The camera is a Pulnix TM-7EX which features: * The Pulnix TM-7 Series offers a high resolution interline transfer 1/2 CCD imager in a tiny, very rugged package. The miniature size of the TM-7 Series cameras eliminates the need for a remoted imager camera in all but the most confined spaces. Designed to meet a variety of application requirements, the three models in the series have many standard features including high speed shutter capability and asynchronous reset. The most commonly needed adjustments, such as gain, gamma, AGC, & field/frame selection, are easily accessible on the rear camera panel. C-mount is also standard. The TM-7 Series features EIA format. The EX versions allow for the external selection of eight different shutter speeds (1/60 sec. to 1/10,000 sec.) by attaching the SC-745 Shutter Controller (Not included) to the 6-pin connector located on the rear of the camera. The EX versions also accept external sync and include auto iris outputs. * The lens assembly is marked Nikon, EL-Nikkor, 63 mm, 1:2.8, Made in Japan. The lens ring adjusts from 2.8 to 16. The distance from the lens to the outside mounting surface where the fiberoptic ring light assembly mounts is 4.5 . * The circular black anodized aluminum ring with the red protective plastic cap appears to mount on the outside end of the housing where the camera opening is, to protect/facilitate mounting of the ring light assembly. * The opening in the middle of the ring light measures 50 mm and it appears to also have a polarizer lens. The fiberoptic bundle is glass with a 15.2 mm cord OD. The end that plugs into a light source measures 22.17 mm x 32.6 mm long then steps down to 18.25 mm x 11.8 mm long and then to 15.9 mm x 6.25 mm long. The fiber bundle measures approx. 9.5 mm in diameter in the end that plugs into the source. The flexible portion of the fiberoptic cord is 77.5 long. * This assembly is also marked: Mfg Date July 1997. * This unit may be missing some of the original packing and the factory box is little rough, but everything is unharmed and spotless. The rubber protective plug is still on the fiberoptic cord along with the factory warning sticker. The protective cap is also still on the ring light housing cover and everything is clean.
