Know when to change that air filter. Ideal for your generator or what have you. A must for knowing when to change your oil in that generator. Forget when to change oil and you could be looking at a cost of 30 to 40 times what this meter will cost.. Especially when todays small 5000 watt generators do not run with an oil filter. Easy to install, just mount and wire to 2 terminals of the 240 volt outlet and you are done. There are 4 wires on the back of the generator 240 volt outlet, do not connect to the GREEN or White wired terminals. More then likely the other 2 terminals are either black wired or red wired, use them. Mounting holes are 1 3/4 inches on center and back wired for easy installation.
