After having been roughly adjusted, the device will level itself fully automated through the integrated bubble level and will reset itself to the starting position after agitation. The rough alignment of the bubble can easily be done with help of the integrated mirror even when working over head. To avoid measuring faults, the device will switch itself off automatically when dropping out of self-levelling range and indicates this with help of a warning light. Generally the rotating laser beam is picked up electronically. For this reason the acoustic and optical receiver, which is included in delivery, is ideal for working at intense incidence of light or at large distances up to 150m radius. The receiver includes a universal clamp for fastening at graduated measuring rod.
