Caterpillar D4, Tractor number 7J7641W. I recently bought this tractor at an estate sale. It had been sitting in a barn and is in good condition. The pony motor starts easy and the diesel motor starts and runs good as well. All the gears sound normal and the clutches and brakes all function normally too. It steers in both directions equally well. The sheet metal (fenders and hood) are in very good condition. It is equipped with the original generator to power lights. The tracks are in poor condition. It still drives OK but the rails are thin and the pins have quite a bit of wear. (Caterpillar D4 crawler tractor was posted and is owned by: Mona Hatfield) |
