The taper shank is ground to .00003" surface finish and has 90% surface taper contact with spindle, which provides high accuracy, rigidity and longer life for the machine spindle and tools. All surfaces except ground surfaces are coated with anti-rust treatment. Adjustable Multi-Spindle Drilling Heads make it possible to drill four holes in the same time it takes to drill one hole. This saves machining time and increases production. The spindle pitches are adjustable within regular squares. The locating pin angular position and length can be adjusted, allowing for a wide range of machine model applications. Multi-Spindle Heads require the use of a Stop Block.
