Microcontroller prototype board; accepts 28 pin uc pic
Microcontroller Project / Proto Board; Accepts 28 Pin PICM18S211 Compatible with most Microchip PIC 28 pin SOIC Microcontrollers / Fits Serpac 251 Enclosures. (DOES NOT INCLUDE COMPONENTS OR ENCLOSURE)
Physical Characteristics of Board Layout:
The M28S251 Prototyping Board addresses many of the basic prototyping circuit needs of SOIC-28 based Microchip Microcontroller projects. Also offered is mounting for HC49 Crystals. The power supply section hosts a TO-263 Thin (7 leads + tab) Integrated Switcher Voltage Regulator (Devices such as the NSC LM226XX). The 0.050 inch pitch prototyping area offers a 46 pin dual in-line pads for SOIC or up to 4 SOT-23-6 devices. The 0.100 inch pitch prototyping area offers pads for 0.300 inch or 0.600 inch components. A 0.05 inch pin pitch debugger port (J4) is offered. Ground and power grids surround the prototyping area.
Most passive component pads provide for mounting either through-hole or surface-mount devices. The circuit design is compatible with many low power battery designs.
1.) U2 hosts many Microchip PIC 28 pin SOIC devices.
2.) D3 Protects MCLR and RA0 (U2 pin 1 & 2) from overvoltage.
3.) LED (O1) is connected to RB6 which is also used during programming and debugging.
4.) U1 (power supply section) hosts a TO-263 Thin (7 leads + tab) Integrated Switcher Voltage Regulator (Devices such as the National Semiconductor LM226XX).
