Here we have a 1 3/4 Horsepower Hercules stationary engine. This is a model 'S' and was originally equipped with a Wico EK magneto, which is missing. There was a complete break of the mag bracket, which has been re-welded. However the weld is a bit crooked, and I suggest a replacement mag bracket be located. There is a very old weld to a freeze crack on the block. It does not leak. The engine has not been run in a few years, so assume that a complete tear down (not to mention repaint) to be in order. The rear crank guard is also missing. The gas tank does not leak.
