It is capable of microstepping operation in half, 1/4 and 1/8 steps as well as full step mode operation. The XD1 has an integrated parallel port breakout board with full optical isolation to form a complete driver system. Each axis can be individually enabled using hardware or software enable. The XD1 has been tested to work with both EMC2 and Mach3 and is fully compatible with other CNC software packages as well.
