This is one of 3 used Mitutoyo standards that I currently have. This one is 20" long. Primarily used for the calibration of micrometers They are also used as spacing bars for stages, or checking the accuracy of Vernier and Dial Calipers Both ends of the standards are hardened, ground and lapped flat to meet gaging requirements Includes a handle which prevents expansion due to body temperature This is just one of hundreds of items that was purchased when we bought out an entire machine shop, including everything from CNC machines & manual machines to tooling and nuts and bolts.
