60 Depressed Center Grinding Wheels 5 x 1/4 x 7/8 - New! These 5" grinding wheels are Type 27 and are available at a great price. 12000 RPM for Metal 24 grit. 5" grinding wheels are popular & can be run on most any quality 4 1/2" grinder that takes 7/8" arbor. The advantage of the 5 inch wheel over the 4 1/2" is that you can stay farther away from the grinding surface, cover more surface area, & have that extra 1/2" in diameter to grind through before you need to replace the wheel.
