This is a brand new, well made 6" LONG REACH digital disk brake caliper with direct reading from 0 to 6.000" and 0 to 150.00mm in a nice molded case with die-cut foam padding. This caliper has unique shaped tips that are ideal for gaining access to rotors protected by a dust shield & for measuring scored brake rotors. The caliper has a stainless steel frame with precision ground jaws to make inside or outside measurements. The controls include buttons for ON/OFF (with auto shut-off), inch/mm, and Zero. There is a thumb screw on top to lock the carriage anywhere along the beam, and a thumb wheel to move the carriage. If it's time to move up from a dial caliper to a digital unit, this may be the one for you. It comes with a 1.5V button battery inside plus a spare in the molded case.
