Let's Make Things Interesting! Let's See If The BIGFOOT-Triple-S-Ranch Can Do It Like Wal-Mart! "LET'S ROLL BACK EVERYDAY LOWER PRICES!" Very OLD BAKELITE Multitester/ Multimeter/ Volt- Ohmmeter 1 chip in lower corner, NO test leads, needs battery holders (2- "AA" cell holders) Looks like it has one lone burned resistor, otherwise OK for its age, it is missing the 4 tiny screws that hold the metal back cover to the Bakelite main body. This is OLD and looks pretty rare to me. I’ve never seen this model before. Tested for continuity, the actual METER works fine, the needle moves freely and smoothly. I believe, if the resistor were replaced, and battery holders connected, this would be a great Vintage Test Meter. Proceed with ABSOLUTE CAUTION DEPT. !!! (Because I once wanted to be a Lawyer when I Grew Up...This Quickly passed!...) Anytime in any of my ads for electronic or mechanical devices when I say that this needs repairs, adjustments, parts replaced- USE YOUR HEAD! We’re talking ELECTRICITY and its Cousin "Dangerous Moving Parts" and close buddies "Springs", "washers", and other almost invisible tiny parts that do NOT go "bump" in the night, they merely "GO"!!! ANY Device that operates from electrical current or has any moving parts is a POTENTIALLY LETHAL THING! So..treat it with that respect. Tear it to bits if you want, once it’s yours, but be aware that things that often need replacing in older electronics, such as "CAPACITORS" are ENERGY STORAGE GIZMOS that can pack a REAL BAD "WALLOP" If not discharged by someone who knows what they’re DOING in there! SO...If you don’t know what it IS or what it Does, LEAVE IT ALONE And find somebody who does. Or Your Husband/Boyfriend/ Sister/Neighbor/Kid/Cat/Whoever... If it plugs into the wall at any point or uses serious electrical juice (like..um..a CAR BATTERY, for instance!) If you don’t know what your puttin’ yer fingers on or in, it can BITE YOU! As this operates on 3 volts DC, I think the above warning is "overkill", but, hey, you never know! So...Let’s Be CAREFUL out THERE!
