Vintage WATKINS Petro-Carbo SALVE Animal Medicine TIN Vintage JR Watkins Petro-Carbo Salve advertising tin. Net weight of 11 1/4 oz. Made by JR Watkins Company, the makers of Watkins Liniment. Only remnants of contents remain in tin. Was used for superficial variety of sores, chafes, chaps, slight cuts and burns. Also for live stock - sores, collar, saddle gall, mange, chafed and chapped teats, should sores, slight bruises and burns. Bottom of tin has a section that looks rusted. Sides and top have minor wear/slight dents, inside clean. Measures 4 1/2" in diameter by 2" high. Vintage medicine type tin for collection!
