Here is a gas pump meter. There are all sorts of parts on this and there are a lot of them. We will tell you that the pump that this came from did at one time worked, how much wear out of them we do not know, and if they would even work. This one is a little dirty we did blow it off some but that s all we did for we did not clean it up in any other way. All and all this one is not bad at all it s like they just took it out of the pump a week or two ago. This one has a bottom that slides the rings together and you can see half of the bottom at a time. The gallon meter top plate says 6-71 the counter says 8281 41. The underlined numbers are black. The bottom plate 5-71 counter 859331. The top metal has one corner that is bent up. This is in very nice condition. We can not guarantee this can be certified any more and probably can not be certified to do gas sales any more. But they are very neat looking and if you have an old gas pump and need one of these just for show this might be the item you have been looking for. This is a Veeder-root Hartford, Conn.USA.
