I decided to sell my massive single phase 7.5HP GE "farm motor". It pulls 37amps at 230volts at 1710RPM. Frame size is 215T. The shaft is 1 3/8 diameter. NEMA code H. It is clean with some light rust and spins freely. It worked until taken out of service and has been stored inside for a few years. I haven't tested the motor and suspect it will need new caps. Wiring is in great shape, not frayed or cracked. From what I can gather based on other equipment it was with, it should be 1960-1965 vintage. One of the cast iron feet snapped off, and one of the rivets that holds the vent is missing, so the vent is loose. Both these issues can be seen in the photos. The motor is well over 100lbs, closer to 200lbs and located outside Philly in Bala Cynwyd PA 19004. (7.5 hp ge motor - 1PH, 1710RPM, 37A, 215T frame was posted and is owned by: Sherry Dillard) |
