Here is a USED Philharmonic Radio & Telphone Corp RT-285 A/URC-11 Survival Radio. Tuned to 243 MC. This radio has 4 Raytheon sub miniature tubes some are JRP 6397's and CK 6526's Plus 2, 2N467 trainsistors. Battery is 12 volts can and is external via connector wire. The antenna is a 20 inch telescoping Antenna. The transmitter and recieving headphone are a single long banna plug. This is a Collectible radio. You can hang it showing it was used by the Air Force and the Navy during 1954 to 1975. Battery is a BA-1315. This is a clean unit. I DON"T have the speaker and mic head set. So I couldn't use it into a dummy load. I'm not going to test it on the air because the military are still using this freqency to operate on today in different areas of the world. I'm to old to be wearing stripped suits and breaking rocks. Selling as a Collectible......... Here is a Personnel Statement: I have been burned several times by people on E-Bay saying it works or the old statement. I can't test it because I don't have the equipment. I don't do that to anybody I know that it works because I DO TEST IT or use it for several days or even a month to burn it in if it's old. You can leave it running and just test it into a Dummy Load which I do and even on the air if it's a ham radio item. I'm putting this in each ad now because of being burn by HAMS and by just regular people. E-Bay has become a dumping ground I do wish for the old days where you could take a persons word and know it was the truth.
