Capable of high feed under rough conditions within the medium to low cutting speed range - maintaining excellent edge security. The excellent adhesion between the wear resistant multi-layer coating and the extremely tough substrate makes GC4040 inserts perform well both in dry milling and when cutting fluid is required.
