1976 Husky Mini 5th Wheel 24' Flatbed Trailer w/ Hitch - 8 New Tires! For sale is this 1976 Husky Trailer Mfg Co. (Houston/Atlanta) Mini-Fifth Wheel 24-foot 2-axle Flatbed Trailer with Hitch. From hitch to rear end is 32'. The Model is "Cargo Carrier" made in the Houston plant and the serial number is H-76-8-C-2030. Manufacturing date is 8-76. The Texas Safety Inspection Sticker is valid through the end of May, 2010. The trailer is in excellent condition with the following features: * NEARLY NEW RadialTrail Super Trailer LT235 - 85R16 Radial Tires. These 8 tires have LESS THAN 50 miles on them! * 24-foot long Bed Length by 9-foot wide. * The mini 5th Wheel Hitch is included with most of the mounting hardware (you may need a few extra nuts/bolts). The hitch works best on flatbed trucks, but it has been mounted in a pickup truck. It is a Prior Products hitch, Model #11-7725 and serial number 24-0760. * Electric over Hydraulic Brakes on the front axle only. * Stepsides with Hand Crank Landing Gear. * 19,906 GVWR (8560 pound GVAR for each of two axles) with a 25,000 pound weight rating on the Prior Products hitch. * The bed sides are 37" off of grade and the side rails have slots for stake bedding. * The flooring is in excellent condition with a combination of pressure treated 2x12 and marine-grade 3/4" plywood. A few holes have been drilled in the floor near the rear for special tie-down applications, but nothing that impairs the integrity of the flooring as a whole. * The flat-deck rear is removable for drive-on construction/farm/auto hauling applications, and detachable fold-up ramps are included. * The twin I-beam frame and structure is in excellent well-painted condition with only slight flash-rust on some of the underside areas. The trailer has never been involved in a wreck or mishap. * The right rear tailight is broken due to a minor cargo impact - easily fixed or replaced. * Mud flaps are intact and in good condition. This trailer would make a great HEAVY DUTY cargo carrier for construction/agricultural/automotive vehicles and/or long material loads. It has been gently and infrequently used and is ready to be put to hard work! And for the asking price, it's a bargain for the load it will carry and the quality & condition it is in.
