11 lbs of 1/8†7018 Welding Rod! - It lays down very smooth beads. It handles easily with minimal splatter and is a very fast freeze rod. - It likes to be run in the 110 – 140 amp range. - It is great for all position welding. I have very successfully done flat, vertical and overhead welds with it. - The flux is moderate and is easily chipped. - For thicker material (anything over 3/16") please bevel the edges, chip & wire brush between passes. - This rod wants to be use with clean steel, remove rust, paint and oils before welding. - The 70 series rods are very strong with a tensile strength of 70,000 lbs per square inch.
