I bought it never took it out , cell phone on a bass ,thats all that was needed , It has all the toys , and the battery is a Nicad pack that recharges in the radio. But a new battery is needed , just from age and none use , I would think . Ever thing as I got it , in the box , see picture , Waterproof , Backlit Keypad , 5 Watt Transmit power, 10 channel Memory ,Weather Bands , Channel 16 quick, 50% off if battery is needed .
