This is an evaluation board for the new Atmel AVR XMEGA microcontroller family. It comes with an Atmel XMEGA64A3 TQFP-64 8/16 bit Microcontroller, on board 3.3V power supply (requires 5V DC), USB mini jack allows powering from standard USB port on PC. This chip has internal calibrated 32KHz, 2MHz, and 32MHz RC Oscillators with adjustable PLL, PDI ISP/Debug interface and standard 0.1in spacing connectors for interfacing (refer to schematic and layout images below). There is also a test LED on PORTF:2. There is also a landing for an optional external HC49/US Crystal (1-16MHz).
