Raymer brand DLT Distribution Line Transformer The Raymer model DLT is an audio isolation transformer which has a 1:1 turns ratio with an input and output impedance of 10,000 ohms each. This unit has a frequency response of 2db from 20Hz to 20kHz when operated at a 0 db level. Connection to the input may be made either by means of a standard phone plug, or by use of two convenient screw terminals. Output connection is made by means of a standard phono plug. The case is electrically connected to the output ground. This transformer is housed in a cadmium plated steel box 3 7/8" x 2" x 1" which may be secured to most surfaces by means of #6 screws (NOT included) through holes provided in the mounting flanges or it may be mounted with double sided tape. The DLT is designed to eliminate installation problems that occur when audio signals must be distributed between amplifiers that are remotely separated or that are referenced to different ground sources. When amplifiers are connected to different power outlets, hum and noise may be induced by the "ground loop" completed by the ground circuit of an interconnecting cable.
