(click on photo for larger image) While most of us are used to the 6 lead and 8 lead steppers commonly used in robotics, this motor has 8 coils instead of 4: therefore is has 16 leads. The step size is 3°45" or, one half the usual pancake patter stepper with 7.5° per step. The required current is 175ma per coil and produces 150g-cm torque. This motor was made in Belgium.
