Tunable to 27-35 MHZ by removing turns of wire from top fiberglass whip with outer coating. These were made by Hy-Gain. Use a pair to make "twin trucker antenna." Length 62". Weighs 1.0 Lb. is similar to the "Pal Firestick" antenna designed for CB radio service but will work well on the 10 Meter ham radio band. They also work well as a broadband recieveing antenna for scanners. We've bracketed two of them together to form a rotateable horizontal dipole and worked Ireland from California on 10 Meter FM running 10 watts.....(23A00)
