FMP Door Closer Silver |134-1120 In 1918, Franklin Machine Products (FMP) was originally known for their production of specialty components for commercial coffer urns. Over time, they developed specialty plumbing fittings for the foodservice industry. With the repeal of prohibition in the 1930s, the FMP beer faucet became an instant hit. During the World War II era, FMP concentrated on the production of government contracts for aircrafts. The 50 and 60s began the move to plumbing items, which led the industrys first wholesale seller to the foodservice industry.
