It can be used for flow stopping or pressure testing in sewer pipes. This is an older style with heavy duty cast aluminum ends. I am a Cherne Industries distributor often rotate older stock. This particular plug has been sitting on the shelf for years. It has been tested and it has no signs of cracking or defects. Plug sells for $253.00 retail.
