Bytronic Z80 static test unit + switched fault unit

Bytronic Z80 static test unit + switched fault unit
1). The 'Z80 Static Test Unit' has fully itemised sections covering data, address and control busses, with all lines switchable and many with LED indicators. Requires a 5v supply.
I'm guessing the 40-way IDC connector may allow direct connection to a processor bus but a legend on the Z80 Switched Fault board suggests it may also be designed to interconnect between the two boards via the IDC header shown loose.
2). The 'Z80 Switched Fault Unit' allows 12 faults to be simulated via switching and has a ZIF socket for inserting a Z80 CPU, which can also accommodate the dummy header wired to the Static Test Unit. The ZIF socket is marked 'TEST UNIT or Z80 uP'.
Both units look unused and to have simply been moved around on shelves in a university store room.
Something interesting for Z80 fans to play with perhaps. If anyone knows more about these boards I'd like to hear from them.
Please note, I've just noticed that one corner pin on the interconnecting lead's dummy header has come off. Not too hard to repair or replace, but please bear that in mind.
Happy to post worldwide, or you can pick up in person from Harrow, NW London, near A40/M25.
