You are purchasing 3 pieces of high-powered 850nm, metal-PCB infrared LEDs. These LEDs perform as well or better than most brand-name LEDs. There is a slight red glow from the LED. A LED collimator lens is required for narrow LED beams. Please check data sheet link below for more information.
