Vanton centrifugal pump model SGH-PY20013 SGH integral pump/motor shaft design saves space and reduces maintenance SUMP-GARD SGH pumps feature integral pump/motor shafts supported by large motor bearings. This low profile design simplifies maintenance and allows easy replacement of the plastic-sleeved stainless steel shaft. Thermoplastic construction of all wetted components ensures dependable pumping of corrosive and abrasive chemicals and wastes, and eliminates metallic contamination. Flows to 175 gpm (40 m3/hr), heads to 100 feet (30 m), and lengths to 3 feet (.9 m). Pump to be constructed with all wetted components of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polypropylene (PP) or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) thermoplastic materials. Flows to 350 GPM (80m3/hr). Heads to 180 Ft (55m). Temperatures to 275 F (135 C). Sump depths to 3 Ft (0.9m). Injection molded homogeneous thermoplastic material selected for compatibility with the fluids Thermoplastic material injection molded with an embedded dynamically balanced stainless steel insert with radial vanes. It shall be closed or semiopen vane design, with keyway for mounting on the shaft to assure positive drive. Dynamically balanced stainless steel integral motor/pump shaft sleeved in the wet end with thermoplastic material to isolate it from the fluid. Shaft to be supported above the coverplate by large diameter motor bearings. VERTICAL SUPPORT COLUMN AND DISCHARGE PIPE Fabricated of heavy-sectioned thermoplastic. The upper portion of the column to be fitted with a nonmetallic vapor seal to protect motor. Sized and shaped to fit the sump, and furnished in the same or compatible thermoplastic material as the pump. All hardware below the coverplate to be nonmetallic. Strainer basket to be provided where required in the same material as the hydraulic head. Each pump to be tested to assure performance at conditions of service. Test data to be permanently recorded and retrievable on request.
