(1) 3" Dial Bimetal Thermometer 0 -200 F, -18 -93 C 4" Stem Back Connection 2 F Graduation. Bimetal thermometers have a coil that expands or contracts as the temperature rises and falls, mechanically activating a pointer on the dial case. These thermometers are also very durable and operate without a power source. Bimetal stem thermometers can be used in thermowells for use in process pipelines and tanks. Stem length include the threaded NPT male connection. The sensing portion is on the bottom of the stem regardless of the stem length. Accuracy is 1% of full scale. Connection is 1/2" NPT male.
