Reasons to hatch Chukars instead of pheasant or quail: 1. Chukars are easier to raise than pheasants and definitly easier than quail. 2. You get a much better hatch rate than pheasant and quail!!!! 3. Less pen space and less food than pheasants which makes it more economical to raise!! And the most important point of all: You get the same explosive flush as pheasant for half the cost to raise your own!
