The 8672A features a 2 GHz to 18 GHz frequency range with RF output continuously variable from +1 dbm to -120 dbm with an output impedance of 50 ohms. Its spectral purity is excellent, and phase-locked loop responses are optimized to exhibit the lowest possible single-sideband phase noise. Unit is programmable from the front panel or rear HP-IB connector. AM and FM internal modulation.
