Intermec 1545/9710 handheld/tabletop bar code scanner This set consists of a handheld Intermec 1545 bar code scanner with finger trigger, a tabletop stand that holds the barcode scanner at an adjustable height and uses a light sensor to trigger it automatically when something passes underneath, a wedge-shaped data exchange unit, a power adapter, and two keyboard cables for connecting the unit to a keyboard and computer. The stand has two 9-pin D connectors on the back, one of which goes to the scanner and the other of which goes to the wedge via a 10-contact telephone-style connector. The wedge's two keyboard connectors (one for the keyboard and one for the computer) are also both 10-pin telephone-style connectors. There's a small audio connector on the back as well. The keyboard cables consist of a short one leading to a PS/2 connector and a longer one leading to an older-style 5-pin keyboard connector with a short PS/2 adapter on the end.
