This is a Minneapolis Moline 6 ft. Bushhog 3 point mounted mower. I have owned this mower for several years and used it with my MM 670. Last year I replaced the front seal where the PTO enters the gear box. However, the bottom seal still needs to be replaced (see pictures). These seals can be picked up at a local bearing store. Also, when I had the gear box apart, I saw that the gears and bearings are in good condition. In the last picture you will see a crack where the back wheel mounts to the frame. This has been repaired and reinforced with a piece of square tubing welded at a 45 degree angle. The blades on the unit are in good condition, and as you can see they are a 2 sided blade. The other side has never been unbolted and turned around for use. The mower can be used, as long as you check the oil every day. This will stop if you replace the seal already mentioned. I welded some steel onto the mower so that I could use my quick hitch, but if you wish to make this original, I welded so that they could be easily ground off without affecting the structure of the mower. When I got the mower I had to repair the PTO shaft, and after this repair I could not use the safety shields for the PTO. I did keep the safety shield parts so that if you would like to make it original you can. This is a good mower, and I used it every year on approx. 4 acres. I am going to a bigger unit. The mower weighs 910 pounds and would fit in the back of a full size pickup. I can palletize the mower for $50 if you would like to arrange trucking. We have forklifts to assist in loading.
