Made to last, these three duct covers are handsome and fit in harmoniously with almost any surroundings at home or work. The outside plate measures 13x13 ½†and they will fit any hole circa 2x12â€. Commercially made, they were new and in storage for about twenty years; most likely they are from the 1980’s but would not look out of place in a room with current décor as well. Bi-directional venting circulates the air effectively by pushing it in two directions to the sides. The vent damper can be opened and closed with a lever on the plate. This lever is easily accessible, but does not protrude above and is even with the plate surface. This way, the units are flat and can be easily walked on if desired. Whether mounted in the floor or on the wall, these strong, durable, heavy-duty steel units are very effective and inobtrusive.
