Bell & Gossett LD3 Booster Pump For applications requiring higher flow and head pressures, Bell & Gossett provides an excellent booster pump. The designs of this pumps is based on three-part configuration which offers complete field repairability and compact construction. This Bell & Gossett booster is equipped with the incomparable B&G manufactured motor for quiet and efficient operation. These pumps are designed to pump liquids compatible with their iron or bronze body construction. This pump line delivers maximum capacities from 100 GPM to 150 GPM. The operational limits for Series LD3 Pump are listed below. Max. Working Pressure: 125 psi Max. Operating Temperature: 225 F Electrical Rating: 115V, 60 Hz, 1PH ( HP only) Bell & Gossett Booster Pumps may be used for hydronic heating and cooling systems, domestic water, industrial applications and general service operations. This bronze constructed pump should be used for pumping potable water. B&G Motor The heart of the Booster. The finest circulator motor available. Sleeve bearing, oil lubricated with replaceable resilient motor mounts. B&G motors are designed and manufactured specifically for the B&G boosters. Noise dampening coupler. B&G s own flexible spring design adds to quiet operation. Do not accept a substitute. Long bronze sleeve bearings maintain exact shaft alignment. Provides for constant circulation of oil over bearing surfaces. Precision ground pump shaft is oversized to provide large bearing surfaces. Hardened integral thrust collar minimizes end-thrust to ensure long seal and bearing life. The B&G mechanical seal is designed to withstand the wide range of water temperatures, pressures, additives and dissolved solids common in hydronic systems. Centrifugal impeller prevents accumulation of air at seal faces to assure long life. Close impeller/body tolerances minimize water slippage and maximize efficiency.
