You are looking at a New Holland Model 275 Hay Baler with the bale thrower on the back. The baler also has the "Super Sweep" pickup on it and it has the long hitch and long PTO shaft. We recently took this Baler in on trade on a new Vermeer Round Baler. I have not personally baled any hay with this baler , but the farmer that traded it in said it worked good except that it started giving him some trouble tying knots on one side. We had the baler in the shop and replaced a few parts on the knotters and did some adjustments. I put some twine in it and it seemed to tie knots ok in the shop. It still may need some adjusting when you get it in the field. I'v had it hooked up to the tractor and it does seem to OK. The baler does have some surface rust on it, but nothing appears to be rusted out. If you do not need the bale thrower on it, it can be removed fairly easily. If you are not satisfied with the baler when you get here , you do not have to take it. (New holland 275 hay baler with thrower was posted and is owned by: Jack Fulton) |
