15" ROUND OLD HICKORY STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKY LIGHT UP CLOCK This 15" diameter X 3 " deep advertising clock is for Old Hickory Straight Bourbon Whisky of the OLD HICKORY DISTILLING CORP, Philadelphia , PA. Great for a Restaurant/Bar or even a Home Bar. In excellent cosmetic condition & fully operational. This lithographs are done on a plastic face with an acrylic domed face. Acrylic face not cracked anywhere but has some very minor surfaces scratches that are not visible beyond a couple feet. The clock face is in excellent condition. The colors are vibrant on this piece. The clock mechanism works and keeps accurate time. As does the light (15W bulb) . There is a set knob for setting the time at the bottom of the clock and a pull chain to turn the light on/off. The casing of this clock is metal. It appears the electrical cord is original but I have replaced the 2 prong AC plug. It has two access panels for changing the light bulbs and the power cord internal connection. This is a BIG TIME Advertising Clock manufactured by the Ohio .Advertising Display Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio. I would estimate the date on this mid 1950's.
