Up for grabs is a No. 1381 Mortising Attachment and a JT 33 nose spindle for Delta 17" Drill Presses with the DP 600 head casting like the one in the link below. Note the casting painted black on the mortising attachment is a reproduction part made from sand casted aluminum. The hooks are not original and were fabricated from stainless steel rod stock. The thumb screws are new replacements also. The spindle has a brand new Jacobs 34-33 chuck installed. When I had the spindle mounted in a drill press the runout on the spindle taper was measured at 0.001" and on a pin 1.5" down from the chuck is 0.002" to 0.003". The Jacobs 33 taper nose spindle is needed to accommodate the Delta mortising attachment accessory and some what rare, and even harder to find in good condition .
