This is one nice used superior electric model 116 enclosed variable AC transformer (powerstat) the unit has a nice line cord, good comutator surface and brush asm the unit has a switch and power receptble on the front and output is fused. Unit has only a 2 wire cord and plug as the older units did and not a 3 prong plug. 8 amps max load for the unit.
