Unit features 2 stage, 3 cylinder compressor pump (MODEL EC-71-T)- CFM displacement 32 and a free air of 26 CFM @ 100 and 24 CFM @ 175 - 100% cast-iron construction compressor pump. This pump has a HIGH CFM at a LOW RPM. The way to tell this is to take the CFM Free Air (or SCFM) and divide the RPM of the pump into the CFM. This unit has a CFM per every revolution of 0.028. Our competitions' unit run 1350 RPM on the pump speed and puts out 24 CFM @ 175 PSI. Their CFM per every revolution would be 0.017. This tells you that our pump is much larger and runs at a slower RPM of 840 versus 1350 RPM and we are putting out as much air at a much slower speed. Just remember, low RPM is better...your pump runs cooler and will last much longer. (Our competitions' units have throw-away one-piece connecting rods and reed valves. Our units are 100% rebuildable!!)
